We haven't had much going on the past few months, but it's time for an update. First of all, Justin left the band on good terms in the fall. We are continuing as a three piece, which is actually how we started way back when. Second of all, we'll be playing regional shows throughout the spring starting with Kollapse Fest in March. In July we will be touring the west coast with our good friends GIUDA from Italy. Those dates will be posted here once they are finalized. We will not be doing any extensive touring this year. GIUDA is doing a full US tour, so be sure to see them if they play near you.
We will be recording a bunch of new songs in May. There are no specific release plans at this time.
Soon we'll have a new page on the site featuring our in-house mailorder distro. In the meantime, we still have plenty of our own merch laying around, so feel free to order away.

LP's and turntable slipmats added to the merch page!

MERCH - I created a page for shirt designs. Drop us a line if you want a shirt.
SHOWS - We have shows coming up in Richmond (October 11), DC (October 13), and... Montreal! (November 3 as part of A Varning From Montreal Fest). Details here.
We hope to record sometime this winter, but other than that no plans at the moment.

Thanks to everyone who helped us out in Europe in any way or who simply came to a show. We really appreciate it. Enormous thanks are due to Mila, Koppa, Borys, and the rest of the Via Pelagi crew for letting us hang out after tour. If you have any pictures or videos you would be willing to share with us, please get in touch.
The Violent Noise Party comp 7" is out on Torture Garden Picture Company and features us along with a bunch of other US and European rawpunk and thrash/grind bands. There is also an Aghast discography-so-far cassette out on Gasmask Records that contains the demo, both ep's, and the lp. Tolerante Records has gotten through a rough patch and has started working on a cd-r release of a live radio set we recorded on our 2005 US tour.
We've decided to re-record the four songs that were supposed to be a Euro tour 7" but didn't get done in time. Those songs and probably a couple others are tentatively slated for a split lp that we'll share more about if and when it looks definite. We won't be hitting the studio for a while.
Apologies to the organizers of the Different Kind of Dude Fest that took place in DC last weekend. We were supposed to play but couldn't due to what could charitably be called a scheduling conflict. Congratulations to all involved for a successful fest despite last-minute difficulties.
We have a lot of lp's and shirts left over from tour. We will be doing mailorder for everything through this site. There are 200 copies of the lp on yellow with green and black splatter. We have a bunch, first come first served. They are $12ppd. If you want one, send us an email for ordering info or send cash or money orders to the DC address on both our 7"s. We will be adding a "merch" page to the site in the near future with pictures of the shirt designs.

We leave for tour tomorrow. The shows page has been updated with recent changes. If you're able to make it to one (or more!) of the shows, please come say hi. The "tour ep" mentioned earlier didn't get finished in time to be a tour ep, but it is done now and will appear as a regular release at some point.

Made updates to the tour itinerary. We still need help with the following dates, all in Germany:

July 19
Get in touch if you can help!

We'll be playing some local shows before we head across the pond. Here's what they'll probably look like:
6/14 - Virginia Beach
6/15 - Baltimore (confirmed)
6/16 - Richmond
6/17 - Silver Spring (confirmed)
More details soon. Also, it looks like we're not going to have a new ep ready for tour. The four new songs we have recorded will see the light of day later this year.
4 / 14 / 07
Made some updates to the tour itinerary. There are still a handful of holes in Germany, so if you can help, please get in touch with us or Agipunk.
4 / 2 / 07
DEFORMITIES LP is out now. It should show up in US distros soon. Mailorder customers through Agipunk get limited splatter vinyl. We will have these on tour as well.
We recorded four songs this weekend for a tour 7". Still need to lay down vocals, so hopefully we can get everything done in time.
Gasmask Records will be doing a discography cassette with the demo, both eps, and the lp. 200 copies, these should be ready for tour.
3 / 22 / 07
I just posted a rough itinerary for our summer Euro tour on the shows page. It's far from complete, but it'll give you an idea of what cities and countries we'll be playing. Sorry we can't play everywhere! If you can help with an open date, please contact Disastro Sonoro.
The "Deformities" LP will be out soon, possibly even by the end of March. Keep your eyes and ears open.
1 / 27 / 07
We are currently finishing up the layout for the new record. Everything will be submitted soon, and the finished product should see the light of day in March/April.
We will be touring Europe from June 21 to July 20. If you want to set up a show, contact Agipunk's Disastro Sonoro booking.
12 / 31 / 06
Hope everyone had a safe and pleasant holiday. There are now a couple songs from the new record up on the discography page for your listening pleasure. 2007 is shaping up to be our most productive year to date by far. Expect a number of releases. Bring it on, '007.
12 / 18 / 06
We are pleased to anounce that our next record, a mini-LP, will come out on Agipunk Records. Agipunk took a chance on us three years ago by offering to put out our debut 7"; at that point we had played one show, and we had recorded the material on the ep by ourselves in a basement. That kind of reckless support for new bands based solely on the love of their music is so important to nurturing a fertile underground scene, and we're thrilled to be working with Mila and the rest of the Agipunk crew again. Without getting ahead of ourselves, we're looking at spring '07 release date. If the planets align properly, a European tour will follow. In the next few days, I'll post a couple of unmastered mp3's from the new record.
11 / 12 / 06
Ok, well I guess it's not a major site overhaul or anything, but I did update the links page with more of our friends and added a bunch of mp3's to the discography page - the whole demo plus two songs from each of the ep's. In the near future we'll probably put up an unmastered song or two from our upcoming record. We're very happy with the recording. If you're looking to record in the Richmond area, we highly recommend Minimum Wage Studios. Lance is a friend and is very good at what he does. He helped us get a great sound for this record, and he doesn't exactly have a regular cast of crust/noise bands coming through.
11 / 4 / 06
Holy shit. Long time no updates. You haven't missed much. Tour was great - big thanks to everyone who helped out or came to the shows. We recorded a record right after we got home and just finished mixing it. No title, no release date, no definite label yet. Hang tight.
6 / 10 / 06
First update from the road. Thanks for everyone who's come out so far, it's been fun. Sorry to anyone who got screwed by the last-minute venue change from Denton to Fort Worth. We will NOT be playing Tijuana, things just didn't work out this time around. We did, however, add a show with Imperial Leather in Reno on the 20th; that and some other updates are now reflected in the Shows page.
5 / 31 / 06
Ok, this is probably the last update before we hit the road. Most things are in place. Supposedly we will be getting copies of the Lebenden Toten splits when we pass through Tijuana. Hope to see you at the shows. Bring earplugs.
5 / 27 / 06
The last pieces of the tour are falling into place. The itinerary on the shows page is almost final. We still have a big hole out west, but we're planning to just chill. If
there are any shows we can hop on though, that would be cool, so get in touch if you've got something.

GOVERNMENT WARNING
Come out to help us earn a little gas money before we hit the road. Oh, and if you get the chance to see UNHOLY GRAVE on tour, do it. They killed DC last night.
5 / 11 / 06
Made more updates to the tour itinerary. Still lots of tentative shows, but things are starting to come together. We still have a BIG hole to fill out west (NoCAL, NV, UT, help!). Although, if we end up just hanging out on the coast for a few days, I don't think it would kill us.
Also, this isn't on the shows page, but we will be playing RVA with Pittsburgh's almighty FLAK on May 30. Details to come. Possibly one other show in VA before we hit the road as well.
5 / 5 / 06
We still have a couple significant gaps in our summer itinerary. Please get in touch if you can help with any of these dates: June 5-7 (Asheville/Chattanooga/Memphis/St. Louis/etc.) and June 17-22 (NV/Bay Area/NoCAL/OR). Any other towns would be great too!
4 / 21 / 06
Summer tour dates are up on the Shows page. Some of the dates are tentative and some we still need help with, so please drop us a line if you can be of assistance!
3 / 16 / 06
Everything's set for our three-day mini tour with Blood of Christian Children and Tradition Dies Here! Head over to the shows page and check them out. Still unsure of some of the details, but we'll put up more info as we get it.
2 / 20 / 06
Not much going on at the moment, but it looks like we will be playing a couple of shows in the spring -- March 30 in RVA and April 1 in DC, both with Portland's Blood of Christian Children. More details to come.
1 / 28 / 06
A few bits of news... First, our next release will be a split cd-r with Portland's LEBENDEN TOTEN. Our half is a 23-minute live radio set we played on our summer tour. This should be out in the next couple of months on the Mexican label TOLERANTE. Also in the near-ish future there should be some interviews showing up in the punk press. Shravan did one for WARNING, we all did one for MRR with Brandon from DIRECT CONTROL, and I'll be doing one for a Canadian zine called Born 20 Years Too Late (Jo, if you're reading this: sorry, I'll do it soon!). Also, there are some live shots of us in the second issue of a promising new Richmond zine called I'd Rather Be Sleeping (toexknee@gmail.com).
We've started thinking about our next US tour, which is tentatively planned for early summer. Last summer went pretty well, but hopefully this will be bigger and better. Shravan's going to do the bulk of the booking, so if you want us to play somewhere or can offer any kind of assistance, shoot him an email at crust_kontrol@hotmail.com. We recently entered our annual winter/spring hiatus, so aside from a possible show or two in March, we won't be doing anything till summer.
Mp3's coming, I swear...
12 / 23 / 05
Thanks to everyone in Baltimore and Richmond who came out to the shows last weekend and to all the other bands. Both shows were a blast. We'll be playing Richmond twice in January, and then after that it'll be awhile before we play anywhere. Next show is January 5 at the Nanci Raygun with IMPERIAL LEATHER, DIRECT CONTROL, and THE SOCIAL DROPOUTS. 5pm, $5. Then we're playing a big punk b-day bash with a bunch of bands on the 14th. I'll post more info about that soon.
I added the DESOLATE LEGACY ep to the Discography page. No mp3's yet, but maybe eventually.
Hope you're all spending the holiday weekend doing something enjoyable.

For those of you who care, apologies for the long time between updates. First of all, thanks to
everyone who helped out with our tour. We had a blast, and we hope to do it again next summer.
Until then, due to our various commitments, we won't be playing many shows. Hopefully we'll get a
chance to record some new stuff over the winter, and we'll keep you posted about that.
In other news, we have a new 7" called "Desolate Legacy" out on Distort Reality. It's just now
making its way into distros, so for distro information or to order from the label, you can contact
Distort Reality at skell_@hotmail.com.
Thanks for checking in; we'll update this page more frequently in the future. Hopefully.
7/6/05
All the tour dates are pretty much set. A few of them changed at the last minute. We'll keep adding details
as we get them. See you on the road!
6/27/05
Tour dates are still being added and updated.
6/17/05
An update here is long overdue. We had some technical issues with the site, but now we're back on track. First
things first: we're leaving for a full US tour in less than a month, and we still have some holes to fill.
Hop on over to the shows page for a still-evolving schedule, and if you can help with any of the dates still up
in the air, please email us. And for all the rest of you, we hope you'll come out if we pass through your town!
Tour info will be updated here regularly right up until we leave.
Also, our second 7" will be coming out this summer on Distort Reality Records. Probably not in time for tour, but
that's our own fault. Cries of Pain is backlogged with projects, so we both decided it would make more sense to
have someone else do this record so it can see the light of day relatively soon.
We still have a few demo inserts left, so we'll burn copies till they're gone. If you want one, get in touch.
3/26/05
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Riistetyt show, it was a blast!
If you have a chance to catch them on tour, do it. And if you're in the
DC area, make sure you come out to the last Exosus show at the Warehouse
on May 6. Brutal band...they'll be missed.
Things we have in the works... We hope to do a US tour this summer,
but we have no details at the moment. If all goes well, we'll start
nailing that down in late spring. Show-wise, we're out of commission for the
next month or two. We live in three different cities most of the time,
so we don't get to play as much as we'd like. We recorded songs in January
for a 7" on Cries of Pain Records, which should see a summer/fall release.
We'll try to get a couple mp3's up soon. Eventually we'll be doing a
split with our pals Dissystema, but we don't have songs for it yet, and
we have no studio plans on the horizon.
Any questions, feel free to write!
